Tradional/digital art
The artist has used tradional media for the base of this piece, the rough texture that has been created helps to make this piece look more attractive and eye-catching. The line textures help define parts of the image that you wouldn’t really see without. This would have been done in paint or ink with a pencil base to start with. Acrylic paint would have been used to create a brighter look and the ink has been used to soften facial features making this piece highly effective.
Again this has been created by using ink and possibly acrylic paint to define texture and intensity of the background and the main piece. The bold cut out styled image is asthetically pleasing as it is original and captivating.
ALEX PHILLIPS-BROADHURST by using photoshop and illustrator. This artist has used a combination of digital and tradional media. For details such as the texture and 3D effect they have been created on the computer. However things such as the stripes on the van have been painted on using a dark purple paint. Again this look orginal and I think it’s a well presented piece.
I like the pop art style incorperated as well as the scratchy texture that has been added into the piece.
This is a painted version (traditional media) of digital art. This has bright colours just like the other digital art images from the previous posts. Again lines sybolise the movement in the piece. The puddle of water is highly realistic compare to the rest of the image. The ultraviolet styled colours make this piece stand out and as they mix together they work well with one another. Again bolder colours represent the main part of the image.
